The exterior timber at the back of this home was recoated to match its existing clear finish: a four-panel bifold door, two sets of double French doors, three window units and two pergola posts. All the timber was cleaned, the glass, hardware and surrounding surfaces were masked, and the doors and windows were lightly sanded. The weathered post was sanded back to bare timber and its nail holes filled. We applied Intergrain UltraClear Exterior in satin: two coats on the doors, windows and newer post, and four coats on the weathered post for extra protection in full sun.
