House Colour Consultation Melbourne
Colour advice from the painters who’ll do the job, free on painting projects over $5,000.
House Colour Consultation in Melbourne's East
Choosing paint colours is easier with a painter beside you. We help you pick colours for your walls, ceilings, trims and exterior that suit your home, its light and your furniture, and then we paint them.
Our colour consultation is free on painting projects over $5,000. For smaller jobs it's charged separately, so ask us for a price.
Based in Croydon North, we help homeowners across Melbourne's eastern and south-eastern suburbs. See all our service areas.
Signs You Could Use Colour Advice
✅ You've collected swatches but can't decide
✅ Your colours look different in morning and evening light
✅ New furniture or flooring doesn't sit with your walls
✅ You're planning an exterior repaint and want colours that suit your roof and street
✅ You want a feature wall but aren't sure which wall or colour
✅ You're getting the house ready to sell and want colours with broad appeal
Choosing well before painting saves repainting a room you don't like.
How Our Colour Consultation Works
Talk it through. Tell us what you're painting, the look you like and what has to stay, such as flooring, benchtops or the roof.
See colours in your home. We visit your home, look at colours in your own light and narrow the choice to a few options. We can provide sample pots so you can see colours on your own walls before you decide.
Confirm and paint. Your chosen colours and finishes go into your written quote, and we paint them.

“We recently got our whole house (old house) painted by Andrew. He is exceptional in his craft with impressive attention to detail. He provided valuable advice and was always patient and cooperative. He finished his job on time with effective communication throughout the task. His quote is quite reasonable as compared to the market. Highly recommend!!”

“Croydon Paintworks did a fantastic job doing interior and exterior painting at my unit after contacting them with a specific ask. The quotation was fast and well priced, the communication was excellent and the timeliness and flexibility was appreciated. Now my plan A go to painting gang for future work!”

“Andrew has recently repainted some of our internal walls in a more durable paint. He showed up when he said he would. His pricing was competitive and the job was completed on time. He went out of his way to provide sample pots of a few options to ensure I was happy before committing to a colour/product. I’ve asked him to return to complete a further painting project as his professionalism and work was fantastic.”
